The Birds of Scotland Online Talk
Join host Jim Sweeney on January 12th at 6PM as he talks about the seabirds of Scotland with an emphasis on cliff breeding species and their life histories. This presentation will focus on the seabirds of Scotland with an emphasis on cliff breeding species and their life histories. In addition, other species that are likely to be encountered in different habitats during the spring and summer seasons will be discussed. Lastly, tips about identification and information regarding the ornithological legacy of the region will be included in this presentation.
Jim Sweeney has been birding since 1980 and is particularly interested in sparrows, seabirds, and shorebirds. He has led or co-led birding and natural history trips to Iceland, Florida, Cape May, and the lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. He is a member of the Nuttall Ornithological Club and currently serves on the Massachusetts Avian Records Committee.
