Another happy ending from Wild Care Cape Cod:
It’s been quite sometime since I was asked to go pick up a swan in a parking lot in Dennis port! We believe she crash landed into a dark wet parking lot thinking it was a pond while the ponds where snow covered. She had a severe wound on her breast from the crash and a leg injury from colliding into a sign while attempting to get off the parking lot.
With the help of Dr. Morgan suturing the wound, weeks of care at Wild Care with staff that loved her and then at Molly Savages Inn (aka Molly’s pen with a pool) to continue getting stronger, we did it! We got her to release day and that was today! Great team effort!
