Autumn Harvest Dine-Out at Van Rensselaer’s in Wellfleet – Raised $2,800

Thank you to all who dined at Van Rensselaer’s on October 19th for Wild Care’s “Harvest Dine-Out.”  Thanks to you, the event raised $2,800 for Wild Care!
We are grateful to restaurant owners, Diane and Peter Hall for hosting this event again this year, and for their generosity and love of animals!
Guests were treated to an exquisite vegan or vegetarian Prix Fixe meal. 100% of Prix Fixe proceeds were donated to Wild Care. A percentage of proceeds from the regular menu was also donated to Wild Care. Thank you to Derek Langlois – Sous Chef, and to VR’s staff for an incredible dinner and great hospitality. <3

Join Wild Care at Van Rensselaer’s on Thursday, October 19th from 4 to 8:30 PM!

A portion of the evening sales from Van Rensselaer’s regular menu will be donated to Wild Care Cape Cod.

A Special 3-Course Prix Fixe Menu, featuring vegetarian and vegan selections, is available for $40, or $50 with wine pairings. 100% of the sales of the Prix Fixe will benefit Wild Care. Please RSVP to Van Rensselaer’s to reserve your table – 508-349-2127.

From 5 to 7 PM, enjoy Wild Care’s education animals – “Up Up” the Eastern Screech Owl and “45” the Eastern Box Turtle! The evening’s festivities will also include a “Blind Bid Auction.” You don’t have to be present to win.

Wild Care has a state-of-the-art seabird therapy pool, which allows seabirds and waterfowl to exercise on running water. This will help our bird friends recover more quickly so they can get back to their watery habitats!
