Wild Care Open House
Wild Care is hosting a Fall Open House on October 5th from 11-2 PM at Wild Care, 10 Smith Lane, Eastham MA.
Please join us for a day of fun. Pick a pumpkin from our patch to paint, have an owl or pumpkin painted on your face, meet and greet Animal Ambassadors in hourly presentations 11 AM – GARV the Eastern Box Turtle, 12 PM – Up Up the Eastern Screech Owl, 1 PM – Ilean the Mallard, 1:45 PM – Nickerson the Eastern Screech Owl, and from 11-12:30, we have a special guest making an appearance. Get lunch for the family for $6 each. Lunch includes a veggie burger, burger or hot dog, chips and water. Breakaway’s “Dr. of Grillology”, Ken Foster will be on hand with the X-Grill, their 16,000 lb rolling BBQ dream machine of a grill truck, to expertly grill lunch up.

Wild Care has a state-of-the-art seabird therapy pool, which allows seabirds and waterfowl to exercise on running water. This will help our bird friends recover more quickly so they can get back to their watery habitats!
