Rescue Cape Cod Raptors from Rodenticides
Mass Audubon Kick-Off Meeting
@ Cape Cod Museum of Natural History (Hybrid Zoom also available)
869 Main Street, Brewster
Raptors, coyotes, and other predators balance Massachusetts’ ecosystems. But shocking numbers of these iconic creatures have been sickened and
killed after eating poisoned rodents. Mass Audubon’s Rescue Raptors program supports groups in communities across Massachusetts to reduce the use of these poisons, and wildlife advocates on Cape Cod have organized a local campaign team. Join Rescue Cape Cod Wildlife for a gathering to learn how rodent poisons harm wildlife and their plans to reduce rodent poison use on Cape Cod.
This event is hosted by Mass Audubon, Wild Care Cape Cod, New England Wildlife Center, and Massachusetts Sierra Club – Cape Cod

Galápagos – The Untouched Lands Part 2
@ Brewster Senior Center, Brewster Council on Aging
1673 Main St., Brewster
Wild Care’s Executive Director Stephanie Ellis visited the Galápagos Islands on a National Geographic Lindblad voyage in 2019. The trip changed her life, and in 2021 she took a group back to Galapagos as a fundraiser for Wild Care. In May, Stephanie shared her experience with us showing what it was like to visit the Eastern Galapagos Islands back in 2019.
Stephanie is returning on 10/23 to share with us a vivid photographic presentation detailing what it was like to spend 7-days on the Endeavour II ship with National Geographic exploring the Western Galapagos Islands in 2021. Learn why the unique flora, fauna and fragile ecosystems of the Galápagos are a must see for all wildlife enthusiasts, and why they deserve our protection for generations to come. Don’t miss this exciting talk!
This talk is free and open to the public. Walk ins welcome.
